Using Spreenow for ordering on Taobao!

For a while now, I've been part of Taobao group orders with some friends! I never had to do the actual ordering process with the agent, but after a while, I decided to do a Taobao order all on my own. I researched a bunch of different agents, and I decided to go with Spreenow!

The service fee is more expensive than other agents (it's 10%), but their site really made things a lot easier to order things! Plus, I like the cart option because I can review the prices before ordering AKA remove stuff from the cart if the total is way too much hahaha xD

I don't speak or read Chinese, so I usually find good Taobao stores through google and blindly search the page for anything I might want. When I find something, all I have to do is copy and paste the link into the Spreenow search bar! If you don't have a link, you can type in a search term and it'll send you  to the search results. Here, you can click "Translate" to change your search term to Chinese, and it'll often give you more results!
~
It then sends you to a page with the item- ENGLISH TRANSLATED :D It's awesome! You can read through the description as well as the comments (reviews) about the item you're purchasing. If you like the item, just click on the required info, such as size and color/style, then click "Add to Cart". I looove this, it makes things SO easy!

The paying process is a bit funny though. You have to "top up" your account, meaning store money into your Spreenow account. In addition, you have to do it in Hong Kong dollars first, which will then be exchanged into Chinese yuans (the prices that you originally see on taobao). This is a bit weird, but it's pretty easy to do and to get used to and you can pay through paypal or credit card . Keep in mind there is a 3% transaction fee for paypal though!

I ordered my items on the 14th, and the agent checked and ordered my items within a few hours! It really surprised me how fast that was! Usually some people wait at least a day or two to have their agent confirm purchases and stuff- even people using this same agent! It was nice to have it done so quickly xD Over the next few days, the items began arriving to the agent one by one (since I ordered from different stores). The last few items arrived on the 17th and my order was packed for shipping on the same day. I paid for the shipping on 18th (I chose EMS), then it got shipped out with a tracking number on the 19th.

My package arrived on the 26th. The whole process took about 2 weeks, WOW! That was super quick! I was actually banking on it arriving when I was already in the Philippines, but I was surprised!

Everything turned out super cute and great quality! Mm I'll think about doing a review sometime! Maybe! xD

Well, my first personal taobao order went very smoothly and I'm glad! I feel like I have too much power now though xD I'll want to order all the time because Taobao is a treasure trove~ but of course I can't do that because it's quite costly ;; I'll have some self-restraint because of that - w - v Start browsing now on their site and just don't get too sucked in cause you'll want all the things on taobao :'D !

What I'm watching now!

Hello lobves!

This year, I've been watching more animes! It's mainly because of my friends' recommendations~ but it's funny because I haven't watched this much anime in a long looong time ;w; It's weird for me because for 3 years straight, I was super super SUPER hooked on Legend of Korra. I always had something to look forward to every week, and I hung onto every scrap of Korra news that was out there. Obsession much? Yes xD I love the feeling of being so estatic about something :'D. Of course, now Korra is over with on a sour note on my end due to the fact that I didn't like the majority of Book 4... pluuuus all the awful fandom drama that happened post-finale~ though I won't get into that now xDD Anyway, since Korra ended, I've been wanting a show to look forward to every week. These aren't obsession-status for me (I'm still looking for "the one"), but I really enjoy them!

The ones I'm currently watching are:

Ore Monogatari!! (My Love Story)

If you aren't watching this now, GO WATCH IT. It is the CUTEST anime ever. I'm so serious!!! Every time I watch it, my heart flutters and I just want to hit something because it's so cute! It's so fluffy I'm gonna dieee! It's also pretty funny. It's so lovey-dovey and happy that I always feel like something bad is going to happen eventually D; I don't read the manga so I wouldn't know~ BUT NO REALLY ITS INCREDIBLY CUTE TO THE POINT I CAN CRY, GO WATCH IT!

Shokugeki no Soma

This is actually my current favorite one! A show about cooking and competition, what's not to like? :D It's kinda NSFW at parts, so be cautious and listen with headphones! x'D The "NSFW" parts are mostly all for comedic purposes and to show just how delicious the cooking is. I always get a good laugh out of it! It's great :'D But what really gets me hooked is the food and what the characters will come up with for the dishes * 0 * Every time I watch it, I get hungry!!! I actually made the Nanchatte Pork Roast. It was good, but I think it's much better in a smaller portion. Anyway, the most recent episode was awesome, I can't wait for the next one!

DanMachi (Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon)

This one is kind of MMORPG-esque, similar to Sword Art Online and Log Horizon. They're not trapped in a game, however~ their world seems to just function like one. There are adventurers who level up and gain shards (to exchange for currency) by defeating monsters inside a large dungeon. I've always liked these kinds of animes :p The characters are super interesting and CUTE. I love seeing what direction the show will go. I'm loving it so far! To me, the show seems a biiit slow at the beginning, but it's really picking up right now as each episode goes by! Bell is cooool~

Plastic Memories

A world where humans and incredibly human-like androids live together~ This is anime is pretty funny at times, but overall... it hits you hard in the feels. It's so sad ;___ ; I was warned that it was sad before I started watching it, and I underestimated it. I thought to myself "Hey, I survived Your Lie in April, this should be nothing!" But..... I was sobbing in the first episode. I cry pretty easily, though, so it might just be me... xD But yeah, it's a nice anime! The characters are all pretty interesting, and I really like the story!

I'm also watching Nisekoi season 2 and Sailor Moon Crystal but yah! The others are the ones I'm reeeally into at the moment! (・◇・)/~~~

Are you guys watching any animes? What are you watching? Comment in the comment section! <3

Well hello there! Youtube throwback!

Hello my lobves!

My summer has begun~! So, this is super random, but here's a blog post xD As you all know, I'm terribly inconsistent with this. When I was younger, I used to keep my blog updated religiously, but now my motivation to do so has diminished :'D School definitely didn't help either!

So let's see... Throwback Thursday!

If you've been following me on my Facebook page, you'll see that I moved houses. It's really bittersweet because I've lived in that first house since I was 11! I started youtube at 12 (during the site's early days as well!!), so many memories of my whole youtube "career" are there ;w;

I'll miss these locations so much! I hope I can find new ones at my new home!

I remember being inspired to do song covers after watching some on Youtube and rushing to my dad's office to use his... aawfull, low quality plug-in headset microphone. I opened up some random recording program that was already included on my computer and recorded Suki Sugite Baka Mitai by DEF.DIVA for a group dub audition. I actually got chosen for it! And that's how I met the people I always used to sing with! I still have that recording xD Oh gosh... maybe I'll upload it on my Facebook sometime.

I also used Windows Movie Maker with Comic Sans font for almost ALL my song covers HAHAHAHA. Oh, those were the days....

That was a fun time~ I spent years recording dubs of Hello!Project songs with a bunch of awesome people. I miss doing that actually :'T I would always aim for Momoko, Mai, Nakki, or Aibon's lines in group dubs since they were also my faves at the time :p I shared the very first group dub I was part of in before, so here's another group dub from 2008 where I sang as Aibon!

If you want to see more, you can just search my old username "Micchichanpyon" on youtube and you'll find them. Some make me cringe a lot, ESPECIALLY my mic quality >.> $20 desktop plug-in mic. Aw yeahhh~! I have some older covers up on my Soundcloud and a video with unfinished ones from 2010 on my facebook page.

As for dance covers, I began recording with a chunky video camera. The thing was huge! I have so many old dance covers saved, but sadly my external harddrive I keep them in broke and I don't have other backups :'( Hopefully I can recover the files???? I'm sending it in somewhere to see if I can get them off ;w; Wish me luck...

I do have some older dance covers uploaded though, such as this video and one on my fb page:

THROWBACK THURSDAY! Naichau Kamo~ I didn't do horrible on this actually haha. But still, dat video/lighting quality.......
Posted by Michigo on Thursday, June 26, 2014

In some of my older dance covers, I used to film in front of some windows, and I have no idea why I thought that was a good idea! o.o Of course, it made the lighting TERRIBLE! You could barely see me! Also my fashion sense and overall appearance was... very lacking. HAHA.

The red room with the white double doors was my favorite room to film dance covers in :') It's funny how I associate dances with the different places I recorded them in~ I hope I can find a place to film at my new place that will become as "iconic" to me as that room!

Ah~ I've gotten so nostalgic right now ;w; I have a few followers that have been following me almost from the very beginning o.o Man... just... special special hugs and thanks to you guys! You followed me from account to account as they got taken down and everything, and you watched me grow up and improve. I super appreciate your support TT w TT

And.. I'm just SUPER curious! Do you remember the first video you saw on my channel (and previous channels)? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to see which one it was!

Also, let's hope I can update this blog more this summer! It'll be an EXCITING one full of fun and 4TE awesomeness ;D Stay tuned to our FB page for updates because I promise you it'll be awesomeee!!
