Using Spreenow for ordering on Taobao!

For a while now, I've been part of Taobao group orders with some friends! I never had to do the actual ordering process with the agent, but after a while, I decided to do a Taobao order all on my own. I researched a bunch of different agents, and I decided to go with Spreenow!

 The service fee is more expensive than other agents (it's 10%), but their site really made things a lot easier to order things! Plus, I like the cart option because I can review the prices before ordering AKA remove stuff from the cart if the total is way too much hahaha xD

I don't speak or read Chinese, so I usually find good Taobao stores through google and blindly search the page for anything I might want. When I find something, all I have to do is copy and paste the link into the Spreenow search bar! If you don't have a link, you can type in a search term and it'll send you  to the search results. Here, you can click "Translate" to change your search term to Chinese, and it'll often give you more results!
~
It then sends you to a page with the item- ENGLISH TRANSLATED :D It's awesome! You can read through the description as well as the comments (reviews) about the item you're purchasing. If you like the item, just click on the required info, such as size and color/style, then click "Add to Cart". I looove this, it makes things SO easy!

The paying process is a bit funny though. You have to "top up" your account, meaning store money into your Spreenow account. In addition, you have to do it in Hong Kong dollars first, which will then be exchanged into Chinese yuans (the prices that you originally see on taobao). This is a bit weird, but it's pretty easy to do and to get used to and you can pay through paypal or credit card . Keep in mind there is a 3% transaction fee for paypal though!

I ordered my items on the 14th, and the agent checked and ordered my items within a few hours! It really surprised me how fast that was! Usually some people wait at least a day or two to have their agent confirm purchases and stuff- even people using this same agent! It was nice to have it done so quickly xD Over the next few days, the items began arriving to the agent one by one (since I ordered from different stores). The last few items arrived on the 17th and my order was packed for shipping on the same day. I paid for the shipping on 18th (I chose EMS), then it got shipped out with a tracking number on the 19th.

My package arrived on the 26th. The whole process took about 2 weeks, WOW! That was super quick! I was actually banking on it arriving when I was already in the Philippines, but I was surprised!

Everything turned out super cute and great quality! Mm I'll think about doing a review sometime! Maybe! xD

Well, my first personal taobao order went very smoothly and I'm glad! I feel like I have too much power now though xD I'll want to order all the time because Taobao is a treasure trove~ but of course I can't do that because it's quite costly ;; I'll have some self-restraint because of that - w - v Start browsing now on their site and just don't get too sucked in cause you'll want all the things on taobao :'D !

Thanks for reading! <3

What I'm watching now!

Hello lobves!

This year, I've been watching more animes! It's mainly because of my friends' recommendations~ but it's funny because I haven't watched this much anime in a long looong time ;w; It's weird for me because for 3 years straight, I was super super SUPER hooked on Legend of Korra. I always had something to look forward to every week, and I hung onto every scrap of Korra news that was out there. Obsession much? Yes xD I love the feeling of being so estatic about something :'D. Of course, now Korra is over with on a sour note on my end due to the fact that I didn't like the majority of Book 4... pluuuus all the awful fandom drama that happened post-finale~ though I won't get into that now xDD Anyway, since Korra ended, I've been wanting a show to look forward to every week. These aren't obsession-status for me (I'm still looking for "the one"), but I really enjoy them!

The ones I'm currently watching are:

Ore Monogatari!! (My Love Story)

If you aren't watching this now, GO WATCH IT. It is the CUTEST anime ever. I'm so serious!!! Every time I watch it, my heart flutters and I just want to hit something because it's so cute! It's so fluffy I'm gonna dieee! It's also pretty funny. It's so lovey-dovey and happy that I always feel like something bad is going to happen eventually D; I don't read the manga so I wouldn't know~ BUT NO REALLY ITS INCREDIBLY CUTE TO THE POINT I CAN CRY, GO WATCH IT!

Shokugeki no Soma

This is actually my current favorite one! A show about cooking and competition, what's not to like? :D It's kinda NSFW at parts, so be cautious and listen with headphones! x'D The "NSFW" parts are mostly all for comedic purposes and to show just how delicious the cooking is. I always get a good laugh out of it! It's great :'D But what really gets me hooked is the food and what the characters will come up with for the dishes * 0 * Every time I watch it, I get hungry!!! I actually made the Nanchatte Pork Roast. It was good, but I think it's much better in a smaller portion. Anyway, the most recent episode was awesome, I can't wait for the next one!

DanMachi (Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon)

This one is kind of MMORPG-esque, similar to Sword Art Online and Log Horizon. They're not trapped in a game, however~ their world seems to just function like one. There are adventurers who level up and gain shards (to exchange for currency) by defeating monsters inside a large dungeon. I've always liked these kinds of animes :p The characters are super interesting and CUTE. I love seeing what direction the show will go. I'm loving it so far! To me, the show seems a biiit slow at the beginning, but it's really picking up right now as each episode goes by! Bell is cooool~

Plastic Memories

A world where humans and incredibly human-like androids live together~ This is anime is pretty funny at times, but overall... it hits you hard in the feels. It's so sad ;___ ; I was warned that it was sad before I started watching it, and I underestimated it. I thought to myself "Hey, I survived Your Lie in April, this should be nothing!" But..... I was sobbing in the first episode. I cry pretty easily, though, so it might just be me... xD But yeah, it's a nice anime! The characters are all pretty interesting, and I really like the story!

I'm also watching Nisekoi season 2 and Sailor Moon Crystal but yah! The others are the ones I'm reeeally into at the moment! (・◇・)/~~~

Are you guys watching any animes? What are you watching? Comment in the comment section! <3

Well hello there! Youtube throwback!

Hello my lobves!

My summer has begun~! So, this is super random, but here's a blog post xD As you all know, I'm terribly inconsistent with this. When I was younger, I used to keep my blog updated religiously, but now my motivation to do so has diminished :'D School definitely didn't help either!

So let's see... Throwback Thursday!

If you've been following me on my Facebook page, you'll see that I moved houses. It's really bittersweet because I've lived in that first house since I was 11! I started youtube at 12 (during the site's early days as well!!), so many memories of my whole youtube "career" are there ;w;

I'll miss these locations so much! I hope I can find new ones at my new home!

I remember being inspired to do song covers after watching some on Youtube and rushing to my dad's office to use his... aawfull, low quality plug-in headset microphone. I opened up some random recording program that was already included on my computer and recorded Suki Sugite Baka Mitai by DEF.DIVA for a group dub audition. I actually got chosen for it! And that's how I met the people I always used to sing with! I still have that recording xD Oh gosh... maybe I'll upload it on my Facebook sometime.

I also used Windows Movie Maker with Comic Sans font for almost ALL my song covers HAHAHAHA. Oh, those were the days....

That was a fun time~ I spent years recording dubs of Hello!Project songs with a bunch of awesome people. I miss doing that actually :'T I would always aim for Momoko, Mai, Nakki, or Aibon's lines in group dubs since they were also my faves at the time :p I shared the very first group dub I was part of in before, so here's another group dub from 2008 where I sang as Aibon!

If you want to see more, you can just search my old username "Micchichanpyon" on youtube and you'll find them. Some make me cringe a lot, ESPECIALLY my mic quality >.> $20 desktop plug-in mic. Aw yeahhh~! I have some older covers up on my Soundcloud and a video with unfinished ones from 2010 on my facebook page.

As for dance covers, I began recording with a chunky video camera. The thing was huge! I have so many old dance covers saved, but sadly my external harddrive I keep them in broke and I don't have other backups :'( Hopefully I can recover the files???? I'm sending it in somewhere to see if I can get them off ;w; Wish me luck...

I do have some older dance covers uploaded though, such as this video and one on my fb page:

THROWBACK THURSDAY! Naichau Kamo~ I didn't do horrible on this actually haha. But still, dat video/lighting quality.......
Posted by Michigo on Thursday, June 26, 2014

In some of my older dance covers, I used to film in front of some windows, and I have no idea why I thought that was a good idea! o.o Of course, it made the lighting TERRIBLE! You could barely see me! Also my fashion sense and overall appearance was... very lacking. HAHA.

The red room with the white double doors was my favorite room to film dance covers in :') It's funny how I associate dances with the different places I recorded them in~ I hope I can find a place to film at my new place that will become as "iconic" to me as that room!

Ah~ I've gotten so nostalgic right now ;w; I have a few followers that have been following me almost from the very beginning o.o Man... just... special special hugs and thanks to you guys! You followed me from account to account as they got taken down and everything, and you watched me grow up and improve. I super appreciate your support TT w TT

And.. I'm just SUPER curious! Do you remember the first video you saw on my channel (and previous channels)? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to see which one it was!

Also, let's hope I can update this blog more this summer! It'll be an EXCITING one full of fun and 4TE awesomeness ;D Stay tuned to our FB page for updates because I promise you it'll be awesomeee!!

Cosplay!

Hello mah lobves!

So if you didn't know already, I do some cosplaying!

My first cosplay was in 2010! I had bought this one because I had no idea how to make anything at the time haha~ I just wanted to have the experience. It was probably one of the most fun times I've had at a con!

The lovely girl on the left cosplayed as Len! When I went, I didn't have a Len cosplaying with me, and her Rin wasn't able to come. I first saw her in the dealer's room and she said that we should totally meet up at the Vocaloid photoshoot. Later, we met up at the photoshoot and we ran into a huge hug as if we knew each other for years :'D It was great! I also spent the rest of that day with her and her friends (who also cosplayed from Vocaloid!). Ah~ it was so fun (っ´ω`c)♡

~~~
Asami was the first cosplay I made parts for! The jacket was made by Chinasaur- a really awesome cosplayer that I love :'D But I made everything else! It was big cosplay milestone for me! I'm proudest of the Equalist glove I made! It's mad rout of cheap materials but hey~ it looks awesome ah ;w; I even got Janet Varney (the voice of Korra) to sign it!
I used my real hair for Asami~ I had grown it out to be the perfect length xD But I recently cut it so..... if I want to cosplay her again, I'll have to get extensions or a wig~ or grow it out again :p
~~
Vanellope was the first costume I made all the parts for- yet another cosplay milestone . For me, it's my best cosplay and the most comfortable by far! My favorite part of this cosplay has to be the candy pieces! The gummy bears and mints are real candy that I sealed with gloss and glued to a bobby pin! ^-^
Someone was nice enough to edit this image for me!!!!!
They stayed anonymous though ;A; I wish knew who it was so I could give them credit!
~~
A recent cosplay I did was Sasha from Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan)! This is really uncomfortable to walk around in because of the harness straps xD But! I'm proud to say that I made the straps myself! Everything else is store bought xD Ah I need a new wig~
That's me on the far left!
I also made my boyfriend's harness~
~~~

Right now, I'm working on Anna from Frozen! By now, the Frozen hype is dying down ever so slightly xD But I'm really excited to be her!

I really lucked out on the fabrics for her. I found the majority of them in the discounted fabric scraps! And Joann's coupons omg~ they help SO much! So much discounts!!!!!

I also want to do Nagisa from Free. I WANT TO BE SWIMMINGU ANIME

It'll be my first time crossplaying! I'm so excited xD Oh! That cosplayer in the print is Jin from Tuxedo Team~ a Filipino cosplay group I've admired for years!!! If you look on my old blog, you'll see me fingerling about them!

~~~
I hope you enjoyed reading! If you have any questions about how I made some parts of cosplays feel free to ask me on my ask.fm! Or you can view the construction notes as well as see more pictures and work in progress shots of other cosplays (including Anna) on my cosplay page!
I miss Buono!
Hello mah lobves!! How's everyone doing?
Lately, I've been really missing making dance videos! Actually... just any videos really xD It's so hard to do here in University D; I can't wait until summer when I can start up again. I hope you all are being patient with me OTL
~~~

I was browsing on youtube when Buono! started showing up! Oh gosh, I remember when they were first announced ;A; I can't believe it's been about - what - 7 years??

They are probably my top favorite H!P group along with W. I always loved their songs! The songs themselves were very catchy and had really cute and cool dances. Cool and spicy much? ;D Their voices blend extremely well, and they are among the best vocalists in the H!P Kids IMO! The PVs were also awesome. I always enjoyed watching them! And their outfitssss! They were always so amazing and different than what H!P usually wore back then.

Aside from that, their live performances were TOP NOTCH! The quality of their live singing combined with the energy both they and the audience had... it was simply amazing! I truly miss that nowadays!

I always thought that Buono! brought the best of each of the members. As the years went on I could see their progression in terms of singing as well as overall performance :'D It was so great to watch them improve!

Momoko has always been my favorite member- though I love the other two a lot as well! She was always the most energetic! I would always watch her in the dance shots and learn her parts xD I'd also sing her parts in group covers of their songs! I remember loving how she began singing with a deeper, more mature voice. I reeeally liked that xD It suited her very well and brought out some of her best vocals. In my personal opinion, Buono!Momo was the BEST. If you follow H!P currently, you'll see that Momoko has begun using the chara "Momochi" often, which is signified by her sculpted twin tails. "Momochi" is super cute and everything, but I just prefer how she was in Buono!. It was more natural and, like I said before, brought out the best in her. That being said, I always love Momoko no matter what!

If you don't know who Buono! is, then you should totally check them out! They are a Hello!Project side unit consisting of 3 girls from other H!P groups:

Suzuki Airi from C-ute, Tsugunaga Momoko from Berryz Koubou, and Natsuyaki Miyabi also from Berryz Koubou

They were originally formed in 2007 to sing the opening and ending songs for the anime Shugo Chara (my favorite manga at the time, so that made me even more ecstatic about this group!). They sang the openings and endings for the first season of the anime and then only the endings for the second season. The openings were sung by other side groups from H!P made specifically for Shugo Chara.

Even after they stopped singing for Shugo Chara, they continued to make singles, which made me very happy! Their last single was back in 2012, and they haven't made a new one since. I really hope they make a comeback. I love the group's dynamic ;A;

If you want to see a recap of their singles, this video is super helpful!

~~

I wanted to share two Buono! videos I did! You can probably find more Buono things I was in if you search around on yt xD

Here is an old group cover I did with some friends back in 2009! I was singing as Momoko (the first girl who sings) ^-^

Ah blast from the past. I always loved singing with these girls! I'd love to cover their songs again!

Here's a comparison video of a Kokoro no Tamago dance cover I did in 2008 and 2012!

There was a group dance cover that I participated in for the song Bravo Bravo, and I LOVED it! It turned out SO well! It's not on youtube anymore though! I have the video somewhere though ^-^ It brings back good memories ;w;

This summer, I'm hoping to cover more Buono! dances! I learned them years ago, and they used to be on my previous channel~ I can't wait :'D

~~~
Is this your first time seeing Buono? Tell me what you think in the comments below!
Already a fan of them? :'D Tell me your favorite song in the comments below!
April 3- Happy Birthday to Mehhh
Hello mah lobves!!!
So this past Thusday was my birthday! I have finally entered my 20s, oh my goodness :'D I don't feel much different though haha. I still act like a kid a lot (and people still think I'm 12 years old so... :T).
I had classes on Thursday, so I couldn't really go out and celebrate xD But my family was very sweet and had a fruit basket sent up to me!
Oh it was so delicious (っ´ω`c)♡ I ended up eating all the chocolate strawberries haaa. Those are my favorite kinds of sweets (aside from macarons~ ohoho). I do think I ate too much though xD I wasn't hungry for dinner afterwards. This really meant a lot to me! I live far away from them because of university, and I can't spend my birthday with them :/ but they still find a way to give me something and it just makes me so happy! I'm so blessed to have them :'D I miss them so much!
Later, my friends got me a cute cake!!
It was good! At first we thought the elephant and giraffe were candy, so they made me bite into it. Mm hm. Nope. It wasn't candy... (- w -)
Then today, another one of my friends gave me a cute basket full of cute goodies :'D I didn't take a picture of the things inside it, but aahhh I love everything so so so much! Thank you Yoyo-chan, I love youuuu!!!!  ❤
And thank you guys for your sweet messages! I really appreciate them!!! :D
Welp~ I'll end this post with a baby picture my mom posted on Facebook hahaha. She always does that??? xD
I was such a happy baby pft
Thank you for reading~!!
